Original Concept Icon, we wanted to have two people against a flower with the common radiant background. We tried different lips and a different female character, but the detail did not show in the smaller sized icon (which you would see on the phone and in iTunes search.
Random sketches for letters while we were working on the fonts, and the thumbs up just didnt seem to work out, so we used the Love hand symbol instead.
Other concept sketches for the start page, but they just didn't seem appropriate.
This was the final icon file we decided on, simple concise and still attractive (once the colours were added)
The final mockup of the intro page. You can see how similar it is to the final product, although we moved the location of some stickers. I'll be adding more of the sketchwork in part 2
